Digit channel for Variety Shows

Not sure if this has been covered. I generally don't check out this group on the boards.

There needs to be a digit channel for Variety Shows.

There are way too many to list. Right now Laugh-in, Ed Sullivan, and Carol Burnett are on. And some time ago Get TV had Johnny Cash, Judy Garland, and Sonny & Cher.

Right off I can think of Your Show of Shows, Donny and Marie, The Brady Bunch Variety Hour, Cher, The Smothers Brothers, Jackie Gleason. Not to mention all of the Variety show specials that were not regular series.

I'm sure there is enough content available for this but it could be combined with Talk Shows. I've post on that message board about this.

So what do you think of this and what is missing?

I would to see a channel like this, but it’s not happening. They make too much $$$$$$ in stupid reality shows, I think performers that are still alive would have to royalties and the songs they perform would also have to get paid, I have a TON of old variety shows on dvd if you want to trade

Thanks but my DVD days are over. YouTube has a bunch of programs that I often check out.
