Hey before the late Rober Reed did the brady bunch, i read that he started on a television show co starring Cicley Tyson called the Defenders where he played a lawyer

The Defenders, which aired from 1961 to 1965, starred E.G. Marshall and Robert Reed as a Father-Son lawyer duo.

Reed and Marshall were reunited on 'The Brady Bunch' when Marshall guest starred as Marcia's principal in 'The Slumber Caper'.

and according to "Brady Brady Brady", neither of them seemed to be particularly happy with the reunion. It is stated that Robert was just as much a pain on that show as well.
