The once a day marathons are just an example of schedule laziness. It is a lot easier to just air one show for 3 hours once a day than to come up with a thoughtful schedule with differing sitcom interests being served. With all the classic shows that could be shown, these marathons are inexcusable.

This is kind of sudden.
But Ill watch the mini-marathons of Cheers and probably Bewitched and I Love Lucy. Great to see The Munsters back. |

that's surprising that "Cheers" isn't doing good, as I heard that it was doing great on N@N. I just wish that they'd still show 2 episodes in a row, but at least they're keeping it on, and they have that mini-marathon of it.

Well, IMO, Cheers and Family Ties don't belong on TV Land.
They are too new. Let N@N have them back with the rest of their "modern crap" lineup. That station just plain sucks. why doesn't N@N get some good 80's shows like: Gimme A Break and Mr. Belvedere Finally, why in the hell doesn't somebody pick up "Here's Lucy" ?? I haven't seen that damn show in over 20 years now. I wouldn't mind seeing "The Lucy Show" either. As far as these networks are concerned Lucille Ball's career ended in 1957 after "I Love Lucy" went out of prime time. No pun intended, I love Lucy, but am sick of "I Love Lucy". Chad |
