On another group this is being discussed. So so many got no hugs, no loving, tenderness and too much critical parenting....

Sure glad my mom had plenty of love and hugs for her 3 children as her husband, my father, did not. He didn't know how, got none from his parents most likely...they worked so hard at making their own lives work.

Now all you members, don't say too much, it's not your characxters. But you could find out more about yourself if you opened up....

No Hugs and we barely talked. When I moved away to Altoona PA from LaCrosse WI my mom hugged and kissed me on the lips. That must have been the catalyst for the rest of the family (mainly girls) as they are always hugging and spreading love

I don't recall any kissing on lips in adulthood, except husband and bf's for me. Even when I moved from Pgh to CA, i don't recall a kiss on lips. And dad, forget that, cheeks if anyhere and that all goes back to Mars Venus syndrome.

My daughter was here the other day and when she left she leaned over to kiss me, and on the lips...ummmm

I didnt get too many hugs....... Now I dont get any and I really would like some!!

A good strong BODY HUG feels GREAT. I give and take them as often as I can. I miss my helper guy here as he's been sick and along with all his help, he gives good hugs.......
