“I remember it well. We were taping a scene at the end of the episode where Mackenzie shows up at the door. But it was a two parter and she wasn’t going to be on the set until the following week. So we needed a surprise for the audience. To hold the space. I talked to the powers that be and said, “why don’t we ask Kim!!”. Bonnie says yes immediately and the rest was history. Even though that little clip didn’t air (it aired with Mackenzie at the door) the audience went nuts when they saw you. Ring a bell? I hold this memory dear to my heart!!”
