In the spring of 1993 Target was just beginning to promote spring and Easter by having a special commercial and promotion to honor Spring with The Muppets. The commercial is really cute with Miss Piggy and Kermit singing a really cute Easter song. Interestingly this commercial was part of a new Target promotion with The Muppets with a set of Muppets Springtime plushies consisting of Kermit and Miss Piggy which people could purchase for $8 with a Target purchase. The Kermit and Miss Piggy plush set also came with a cassette titled Put Some Zing In Your Spring which was the song performed in the commercial. Believe it or not I had this cassette as a child and in addition to the title song the cassette also features songs such as The Rhyming Song from the movie The Great Muppet Caper and Rainbow Connection from The Muppet Movie as well as an instrumental of Put Some Zing In Your Spring. This commercial is a lot of fun to see if you're a Muppets fan and Target sure made a lot of money during Spring 1993 due to this commercial
