A lot of actors don't like watching themselves on camera.

Perhaps the process of putting together an episode is so drawn out that actors feel overwhelmed watching the end product. If I had spent 4 hours trying to be part of a two minute scene, I might not want to watch the finished episode.

In the article it says he dislikes how bad his acting was in the early episodes.

Which I didn't think was noticeable at all. In any case if it was me and I thought that was the case, I probably would just avoid those episodes.
