Although best remembered as Batgirl on Batman Ms. Craig also appeared a couple of times on Dobie Gillis as a couple of different characters. In a recent tv guide I saw Yvonne Craig today and the babe looks to be losing her hair up front. I actually find her much more attractive with a lot more of her forehead exposed than when she had a fullhead of hair like on MLODG or Batman. Infact her hair was always a bit on the thin side even when it covered her entire head.

Hey there,Giant,You're right.How well I remember Yvonne Craig's 5 or 6 different appearcnes on Dobie Gillis.She played a different girl each time-but the episodes were so far apart I didn't really notice the first time I saw them.Years later I saw reruns of Dobie Gillis and recognized Yvonne in more than one episode.

This is a very old thread, but I've brought it back up as Yvonne is one of my favorite TV people and I'm nearing my goal of viewing all of her filmed work.

For me, her most memorable Dobie episode was the one from Season 1 with Francis X. Bushman as her father (notable actor from the era of Silent films), in a health-conscious, acrobatic family that sets out to reduce Dobie's flab...!

I never knew she was in that many Dobie eps. Indeed the eps/seasons were so far apart that the part she plays was believable.

And with that thin hair I'm surprised she can manage a full ponytail let alone bangs. Maybe the hairdressers used a fall.
