Default Can I discuss family/friends who were homosexual? Or is this a No-No

I say 'I' as not many members join into my topics. Thanks...

Are they members of the site? Would they see the thread? I guess it would depend on the topic. Would it be supportive? I don't want to host any political threads or anything which would be too controversial.

Many of your topics receive low views and little to no responses. Have you considered starting a personal blog or podcast for some of your rants/complaints? You might be able to reach a wider audience. Most members on here want to keep things a little more light and friendly.

No the ones I've known are dead and it's just a conversation I have started on another forum about Acceptance of those not hetrosexual. The topic is so huge now and I really try to ignore all that is going on and with small children. Not important TJ my request can be denied.

Those types of threads have often turned very heated and ended up closed and/or moved to the Politics board in the past. They really aren't appropriate for Chit Chat.

Yes, it's clear that MOST here need to stay in the sit com and animal and pants stuff, talking about what is going on in our lives, god forbide. There are some others here who would like to talk more but know they have to keep zipped up .

And TJ without good health and wellness, nothing else works in our lives...and you have turned down a Health board way back....and when I've posted some health reminders etc...most here ignore....they don't care about health, interesting group.

But then again could be the age group here, young, have no health interest. Can't say that about my 22 and 26 yr old grandkids...they have a lot of interest in keeping in good health and my grandgirl even has a couple businesses with health products. Oh Well.

There are plenty of other forums and social media platforms where you can discuss those types of topics.

Visiting a site called Sitcoms Online to discuss politics makes about as much sense as going to www.thepoliticalforums.com to discuss sitcoms.

This is another one that was suggested in the past. They have all the topics that you and Dude seem to like.

I joined this group in mid 2022 and posted a lot while covid was HOT and it;s still going after all the years and I'm burned out of posting and reading so much. I know what I believe by now. I just posted some stuff there to let them know I'm still around.

Many boards are quiet now. Sitcoms is such a long lived forum...if one wants to live in sitcoms on and on and on.

Thanks for the reminder.
