Shows Cancelled on a Cliffhanger: "Single Parents"

For two seasons of the delightful ABC comedy, we assumed that “Will they or won’t they?” was just a rhetorical question where pals Angie and Will were concerned.

But when the network failed to pick up the series for Season 3 — and we’re still pissed about it, thanks — the would-be couple was left at a terrible crossroads. As the finale ended, Angie remembered that the night before, Will had drunkenly admitted that he was in love with her.

By then, however, she was already headed off to spend the summer with her ex Derek. D’oh!
