He made the offense less then medicore last season and needed the defense to help beat the Bills last night. I think the Jets will be a 6-7 win team with Rodgers gone for the year.

He was the second overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. It's a little too early to write him off and call him a bust at the start of his third season. He's only 24.

Many teams have made the playoffs and even won the Super Bowl without elite quarterbacks. They don't need him to carry the team.
They just need him to cut down the turnovers.

They were going to need their defense and running game to win games even with Aaron Rodgers. They have many new players on offense and a new offensive coordinator this season.

Things like this happen to the Jets all the time, at this point it was to be expected.

That said, the team has an elite defense, and Zach Wilson has talent. I agree with you comments on him, and on the upgrades on both sides of the ball. The team can still have a good year, make the playoffs and surprise a lot of people along the way.

I hope that you Jets fans get a win over the Patriots today, for 2 reasons -- because it's been too long in that rivalry, and because I wants the Pats' playoff chances to be shot.

Main reason right now, and remember, there are 32 teams in the league. But even after Rodgers went down, they stubbornly refuse to get rid of Wilson.

They might be 0-3 with Aaron Rodgers. They weren't going to win in Dallas even with him. Maybe the issue is with the coaching and play calling. I remember them starting 6-2 last season before collapsing in the second half.

I'm making a bold prediction. Zach Wilson throws for 325 yards and 3 TDs as the Jets upset the Chiefs 31-24 on Sunday night.

I think you meant 325 yards and 3 TDs in total for the rest of the season.
