Default Favorite episodes?

I prefer season 1 Nancy Drew the best. I like the opening better and the plots were better with Nancy Drew. But it did not last long and the scripts got weaker as the series dragged on.

My all time favorite is the Mystery of The Whispering Walls

I agree the Season 1 Nancy Drew episodes were better than her solo outings in Season 2. I do like the first 2 parters she did in Season 2 with the Hardy Boys (Meet Dracula, and Mystery Of The Hollywood Phantom).

Jean Rasey was a much better George than Susan Bruckner. And I didn't like Janet Julian's Nancy Drew.

Also disliked the Santa Claus episode where they re-introduce the Ned Nickerson character as if he never existed in Season 1, now he's an FBI agent played by Rick Springfield.

I'd say my favorite episode of the series is Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew Meet Dracula. Also the 3rd Season two part episode The Last Kiss Of Summer is really good.

Interesting. I never liked the cross over episodes. Season 1 was the best. Cassidy was a huge star and the network started giving more episodes to the Hardy Boys. Pamela left for that reason since she was given a back bench. I wish they would have kept the original formula and opening from season 1.
I read that ABC regretted canceling the series because they never could get the same ratings from any replacement they put in that time slot.
