Before becoming a smash hit for CBS with Wayne Brady NBC had a nighttime version of Let's Make A Deal in 2003. This version hosted by Access Hollywood's Billy Bush is considered to be one of the weakest versions of LMAD ever made and you can see why the Wayne Brady version is better. For one thing I think this version was made very cheap and was meant to introduce new generations to LMAD. The other problem was having Billy Bush host this version and to make it better they should've picked someone like Bill Hader or Tracy Morgan as a better host and that would've made it better and worth watched but Billy Bush tried hard to be like Monty Hall but couldn't on this version of Let's Make A Deal. The only good episode this version had was the one that had Monty Hall in it. I think NBC tried to market this LMAD as a new hit show but it just wasn't meant to be

We’re talking twenty years ago….and although I never watched it, I had read about it.
I had read that there was one “deal” where a contestant had to look under Scotsmen’s kilts for prizes or surprises. Anything for a cheap/dirty laugh. I believe only three episodes aired. No need to ask why. cd |
