if you met them? Not the actors but the Clampetts themselves and who do you think you'd get along with the most?
I think I'd like them, they seem nice. I think I'd get along the best with Ellie since she likes animals and likes to swim. |

I think so in the way they TRUELY were generally.
I used to LOVE Elly b/c despite being rough and tough she SEEMED to have a really soft heart and would defend the weaker. But once I was really disgusted with her. I don't remember much about the episode, but it had to do with a boy visiting from the Hills who was kinda a "sissy" and "fragile" And Elly said something like "I can't wait to woop the tar out of that sissy!" That really turned me off, and I thought it was out of character for HER, b/c as much as I can remember that was the ONLY reason she wanted to WOOP him was b/c he was "feminine" acting. It surprised me coming from her b/c I would have always thought Elly would be the type who would STAND UP for and protect the weaker and defend ppl getting bullied, but that makes HER look like a bully when she said that. Being transgendered myself, it sorta hit close to home, I don't see myself as a feminine man, I see myself as a woman, but I had my share of bullies b/c of my gender identity and always pictured someone like Elly standing up for me if I knew her, so that really let me down when she said THAT. I always wanted to be Granny for some reason lol |

I could get along with them without too much trouble. Granny would be a handful to cope with though.

I don't know if I'd get along with Jethro. He's soooo stupid, and he could be quite belligerent at times if he got the right notion in his head. Like forcing Mr. Drysdale to be an oaf for him or a tank officer.
Jed seems the most level headed, and pleasant. Granny would be all right as long as she didn't try to doctor me. I might try some of her tonic though. |

I'd be a little reluctant to get too close to the Clampetts. At some point they'd invite me to supper, I know possum inners taste just as good the next day especially when covered with gopher gravy but still.......

I think I would be willing to try MOST of their food. Most of it would be really good I think, if not for the thought of what it was lol

I would be ok with the Clampett's. I know people similar to them. They have hearts of black gold.
