Disney Channel's new lineup is horrible! - Page 6 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Looks like Bunk'd including subtitled Learning the Ropes are now off the lineup as of last May 26. Bunk'd will likely return to Disney channel likely for new season, but don't know exactly when yet.

Due to writer's strike, Bunk'd season 7 production has been halted due to writers strike. Filming for season 7 for 12 episodes were completed, 8 episodes have yet to film after writers strike is over (don't know exactly when writers strike could be done, maybe months?). 20 episodes were ordered for season 7.

Jessie is also gone from disney channel as well. Last airing was May 23.

The Slumber Party, disney+ original movie, will air on Disney Channel Thurs Jul 27 at 8pm, and next day on Disney+

Schedule on Saturday, July 8 as part of Nat Geo's Sharkfest on Disney Channel.

8 pm - The Ghost and Molly McGee 'All Shark No Bite / Nin-dependence' (New)
8:30 pm - Big City Greens 'Shark Objects / Dream Weaver'
9 pm - Phineas and Ferb 'The Belly of the Beast / Moon Farm

DXD will air later on, but those channels will NOT air reality shows,unlike last year.

Looks like Saturdays reruns are gone, last was last Jun 29. No reruns are scheduled. No word about the renewal or cancelation yet.

LEGO Friends: Heartlake Stories briefly returned only last Jul 6 and last Jul 9, and tomorrow, and Jul 21. In fact it might be airing for some occasional days or something.

I think Disney Channel's been a lot better in recent years than during the mid-2010s when they'd mostly just air Jessie ad nauseum.

That said, I do love Company Man's videos so might watch it later.

BTW I have a few friends that were signed to Hollywood and that label sucks. They don't pay their
artists fairly.

Disney is to close its six remaining linear TV channels in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea as the conglomerate puts a greater emphasis on direct-to-consumer streaming.

This raises the question about what the future is for those channels. Now that Spectrum, the second largest provider of live TV, has gotten Disney to agree to reduce the number of channels they must offer to keep ESPN, others will likely demand the same. Increasingly, most of these smaller channels now run only repeats with no new programming. This raises the question of why any cable company would keep them around if that content is on Disney+ or Hulu.

They have yet to make an announcement and when they do actually announce it I will be the first to laugh. Almost every single Disney channel has closed (even UK) but the only one left isn't ? Only matter of time.
