Nearly every morning when Mom and I listen to Pandora Danny's Song always seems to pop up and I have been curious to know what it's about? I know that Kenny Loggins and Anne Murray have covered it and it was popular during the 70's. Is Danny a real person and does the girl Danny likes has a crush on him and he's trying to get her attention. The only thing I remember of Danny's Song is the chorus that says
"Even though we ain't got money"
"I'm so in love with you honey"
"Every day will break a chain of love"

Oh wow thanks! I love this song. It's really beautiful . I had always thought " Danny" was the little baby boy , and Kenny was singing it about him and his wife having a baby boy named Danny!

And I thought Kenny sung it before Ann Murray. I like her version, but like Kenny's better.
