Heart Zsa Zsa Loved Being Married, all 9 Times

My program had a very interesting interview with Zsa Zsa's's 9th husband, Widower Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt, interesting fellow at 80 living in Hollyood and loving that the Terminator, Arnold, is considering running for State Senator from CA. I'd vote for Arnold again, things could improve with him.

I'm not posting links as many here may not be interested in this news....

I have always wondered what was wrong with the Gabor sisters and their mother and why they were married so many times. Zsa Zsa being married NINE TIMES? There has to have been something wrong with her. Eva was married five times.

I think some people were just not meant for marriage.

Yeah, I wonder.. Why bother? Personally I believe marriage is a sacred thing and shouldn't be entered into lightly. People like the Gabors, Liz Taylor, etc. make marriage look like a joke. There were many long term Hollywood marriages like Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward married 50 years for example. That shows real love and maturity which those other people lack.

There are most likely more married people out there who are living quiet lives of desperation being in a bad marriage...I was in 1 and would never go again to that institution.

Maybe the Gabors were smart -- they all made out good from t heir marriages....whatever

Penny, going into marriage there is no guarantee on how it will work out. Blind leading the blind.

Caroline, sorry you had a bad marriage. I was blessed with a good husband and father. Sure we had our problems early on but we got through them and our last 40 years were good. We had been together since 1968 so losing him last year was really hard. I couldn't even imagine him not being in my life but I survived. I don't plan on marrying again.

Circumstances enter into all relationships, we moved 3000 miles from our roots and a different life pursued, I know many good "steady" relationships and there are many others. Glad you had a good one that worked a long time, my folks had a long one 63 yrs but a tough one, divorse was out of the question for many yrs ago.

We were both from the same small town where our families were. The furthest we ever lived away from home was 20 miles. That was too far for me! But I can admit that I don't know what could have happened had we moved far away in those first 10 years. I was/am very close to my family. Especially my 3 sisters. That would have been a strain on us I am sure! For the last 40 years we have lived only 9 miles from our hometown and have stayed in close touch with family and old friends. Yes, It makes a huge difference!

Both sets of our parents had 50+years of marriage.

Don't know if true or not but did anyone else hear Zsa Zsa say in an interview that if she wanted to have sex with a man she must be first married to him? Just thought it was an interesting take

Never heard that one but could be so. She was married to many powerful men and had a son with Conrad Hilton if my memory serves me right, oh Im reading a girl child with Hilton.

Death Certificate for Zsa Zsa

Gabor's death certificate lists that she suffered a stroke, or cerebrovascular accident, before falling into a coma and dying of cardiopulmonary arrest at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Other contributing factors to her death were coronary artery disease and cerebral vascular disease.
