Default I-70 Killer on People Magazine Investigates

Not sure if anyone saw this or posted, but I just watched a new episode of "People Magazine Investigates" on the I70 serial killer. I apologize if this has been posted, but it is a very good, in depth program and really features all of the victims and more details on them heavily, I thought it was very well made and definitely much more in depth than how short the UM segment was on it.

Incredible that UM would give half a show to some silly woman hoaxer claiming to be a reincarnated princess/duchess, while giving 3-4 minutes to a brief reconstruction of an active serial killer.

I watched it last night and I agree with you. It's nice to get more information and details about the shootings and hear from loved ones of the victims. Plus, actual crime scene footage and photos.

It ended so abruptly, though. I didn't know there was a Part 2 that hasn't come out yet.

Thank you! I saw the People Magazine i-70 episode today, well the 1st part (of 1 and 2). Will buy the 2nd part tomorrow! Thanx for letting us know about this. I agree w the other poster = too bad the tiny 5 min UM I 70 segment was longer. Like 12 minutes not 5!

But, those 5 min were scary with the music and re enactment of the killer forcing 2 women into the back! And the black man confronting the killer by surprise! I'm still surprised he LET HIM GO! Why!? Cause he only hates women? Still figured he'd off a witness!

Wasn't really keen with them tying in other cases with no real evidence-the footage of the guy getting shot in a Terre Haute store in 2001 was sad & bizarre that nobody recognised him, but that sort of stuff has been happening forever.

Not convinced by the Vicki Webb case either-the guy seemed too young compared to the UM description & that none of the confirmed victims were sexually assaulted, in this case him coming back into the store & removing her trousers shows a sexual motive-if he hadn't been disturbed by noise nearby I think he likely would have sexually assaulted/raped her. Not to say he hadn't been 'inspired' by the I-70 killer publicity, but I find it more likely he was a young guy out for warped thrills.

Probably foxed by somebody else coming in & then him not following orders-this guy was all about risk control & him shooting a guy at the front door or outside if the guy ran out would possibly attract anybody else nearby & risk the cops coming right away.

I've been waiting since July to see part 2. But it's not available on streaming. They've just been showing different episodes since.

Do you have to buy part 2? I'm so confused.

Yeah I paid $1.99 for part 1. Part two is same price. Multiple ways to watch it. I googled it and then clicked on a list of ways to watch it. Many were subscriptions but 1 was pay 1.99.

Are you referring to the Anna Anderson woman? cause her claim was that she was the youngest daughter of the Last Russian Tsar, Nicholas II.

If I remember correctly, the main advocate for her was insisting in other publications that there was even a 5th daughter too. Then like, 6 months after that segment aired, DNA testing confirmed Anna Anderson was a hoax.

Hi, here is what I typed in another I-70 thread recently. Wanted to copy and put it here as well: I watched a newer documentary on I 70 from People Magazine. It has 2 parts. I saw the 1st part last year and forgot about part two online! Got it 3 days ago! A really odd thing was mentioned and shocked me. A detective said years later a witness came fwd: he said right around the time of one lady's murder at one of the stores a guy asked a construction foreman if he was hiring. The foreman told the stranger to follow him back to the trailer/mobile office. Now if someone is gonna kill a guy they usually follow him normally on the road and then bang/ act weird!! Well this guy/fake job applicant was tailgating him and driving weird! After they arrived at the foreman 's trailer the weird-evil guy held him up w a gun, the strange thing is his girlfriend or wife was the one who handed the driver a gun from the backseat! The construction foreman acted quickly by running back into his truck and driving off. Cool. The "odd couple" drove after him into the scary lonely wooded area. He however knew the wooded area and eventually lost them! I have to watch this again tonight. The detective kind of implied maybe this guy (with the gf) is the serial i70 killer. Wow. If the I 70 killer always parked on the side roads or off the interstate - if his gf is waiting for him he can get out of there minutes faster. He dont have to get to his car, start the engine, and make a scene - as his gf or wife is there. And if he always had a gf or wife he would not stand out to people as a strange loner in the yrs after...

Update: I watched People Magazine Video on the i 70 killer again and they said the man who almost went inside the bridal store where 2 women were just murdered was asked to compare the killer's looks, clothing attire, and gun. (this was the african american guy scene on UM.) I thought detectives lost track of this witness!? Good thing they kept in touch. Anyways, this man said both guys (bridal store vs construction site) looked the same in appearance AND clothing and perhaps the same gun was used! Wow. So most likely the I_70 killer had a female companion who drove the getaway car for all his murders or for a few of them. She needs to be caught too now for murder. Wheres this sketchy woman's sketch at? [I do not think the Texas attempted murder was the same serial killer.]

UPDATE 2: When I re-watched part two of "People Magazine investigates the I-70 killer" they said they received exclusive new info from the case. (This is the part where I typed above about the 'construction boss' almost getting killed by this young couple in a car on the same day as one of the crimes.) This is why I never heard about this shocking new detail - it was only released to People Magazine 2 or 3 years ago!
