Default Just read the DVD review and 2 episodes look to be edited on the DVD

1 episode from season 3(Sweathoggs Back to School special) that comes in at around 24:25

1 episode from season 4 (Barbarino's Blues) that comes in at around 24:10

All the other episodes on the set are 25 or more minutes. So I guess that is not too bad out of a series set but I still would prefer all eps to be at 25

The Back to School Special was basically a clip show so that's no big deal. Probably ran short anyway.

Barbarino's Blues was shorter than the other season 4 episodes from my bootleg set and they were all uncut so maybe it was short originally.

With as many episodes that ran short and needed a minute and a half closing theme, it wouldn't be surprising to see an episode or two just be short.

It means that Barbarino's Blues is probably cut but at least that is only 2 eps out of 95.

just looked at these two on Tubi. So the season 3 episode was CUT and came in at 25:00 on Tubi. Barbarino Blues is also 24:10 on Tubi so looks like only Back to School special was cut

"The Fight", "Kotter And Son", and "Meet Your New Teacher, Batteries Not Included", also run under 25 minutes on the DVD's. Run times are about 24:20. Don't know if these are edited or maybe just ran a little short originally.

On Tubi

The Fight is 25:06 but the Kotter and Son and Meet your New teacher looks to have the same version as the DVD

So it appears that The Fight has something edited from it on the DVD. I'm skeptical about Barbarino Blues but if it has the same run time on Tubi and the DVD then maybe it's complete.

I just discovered that the tag scene at the end of The Fight episode is cut from the DVD, but the tag is there when watching the episode on Tubi.

Yep exactly, it's not really a big deal but still no reason for the tag to be cut from the DVD.

That Complete series DVD is going in the trash. Not only did it have glitches in episodes like Arnold vs Carvelli, but it had edited episodes which makes the set TRASH

I'm not throwing mine away although it is disappointing to find out that a few episodes have these sneaky little edits.

I do suspect that the Barbarino Blues episode could be edited, take a took at around the 7 minute mark right after the opening credits, the scene picks up and appears to already be in progress, looks to me like something might have been edited there. The episode run time is only about 24:10 which also makes me suspicious.
