Seems like SBTB: The College Years was doomed to fail in primetime once Zach and his cohorts graduated from Bayside and entered college...had NBC aired The College Years on Saturday mornings as part of its teen-oriented TNBC block, it might've lasted longer than it ultimately did. Having NBC schedule The College Years directly opposite Full House, Rescue 911, and Roc in the 8 pm timeslot on Tuesday nights contributed to its early cancellation, not to mention the fact that it was severely lambasted by critics when it debuted.
Thanks for sharing the info, TVFactFan. |
