Chef Boyardee Smurfs Pasta commercial from 1985
In the 80's The Smurfs was the most popular cartoon in history and sprouted all sorts of merchandise including food. In 1985 Chef Boyardee debuted Smurfs Pasta and to honor it's debut a fun commercial aired which featured The Smurfs as they tried to stop the villain from stealing their pasta. Smurfs Pasta debuted with three flavors which was plain pasta in cheese sauce pasta with meatballs and raviolis which contained Papa Smurf's Secret Sauce which I can't tell what was in it. When it came to food based on cartoons Chef Boyardee was king of character pastas and Smurfs pasta was truly a huge winner for them
