Ok this might come out weird I was thinking about writing to Antenna TV but I figured I will start here in the first episode “Dennis goes to the Movies”, there is a women sitting in the front row with blond hair a black turtle neck and long earrings. lmao! My question is she a time travler? She doesn’t resemble anybody from that time period. All though I wasn’t alive in the late 50’s early 60’s. So maybe people did look like this extra? All though she doesn’t look like anyone from any other 50’s 60’s program that I have seen. Dennis the Menace always worth a second look.
Was this the only Family sitcom from this time period where the characters cursed? I remember one episode Henry said Who in Sam hell is that? I remember George Wilson using the word Jackass as well. No it wasn’t referring to a donkey either. Sorry I hope I didn’t offend anyone typing those curse words. If so Moderator please fix it up. Thanks. |

Where in Sam Hill did that lady in the front row come from? (Actually I need to watch the episode again from DVD, but nothing struck me odd about it the dozens of other times I've seen this show.)

I remember my dad saying that phrase, Sam Hill. For example, he would say "What in the Sam Hill are you doing??"

In To Kill a Mockingbird 1962 little Scout says ‘What in the Sam Hill are you doing Walter? He’s gone and poured syrup all over his dinner and…..’ It was widely used back in the day. In one episode I think Rare Coin Wilson is looking through the vacuum clearer and Dennis shows up. He admits he wants to swear at Dennis. Don’t know it verbatim but very funny.
