Vincent’s Nightly Strolls Through The Big Apple

On “Beauty and the Beast,” we often saw Vincent walking around the largely deserted NYC streets at night, often to visit his beloved Catherine at her posh apartment overlooking Central Park.

However, today in 2023, I wonder if Vincent could still freely amble around the streets of Manhattan at night? After all, there are hundreds of video security cameras installed on buildings and, of course, people have cell phones with them to record any interesting events or persons, like, for example, Vincent.

I suspect that we’d see a revealing video of Vincent walking through Central Park or of Vincent riding on the top of a NYC subway train (and, also committing the offense of fare-beating) on an episode of “Inside Edition” or “The Today Show.”

No doubt, George Noory, host of “Coast-to-Coast AM,” would have several prominent Big-Foot researchers and crypto-zoologists on his popular late-night radio show to discuss just what the heck “Vincent” was: man or beast or some
weird combination of both?

Yes, as a result of all this modern day video surveillance, poor Vincent would probably have to resign himself to only long strolls in the confined world below and fascinating chess matches with Father, Pascal and Mouse.
