"Mars" veteran rolls to ABC's "Stone"

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "Veronica Mars" veteran Julie Gonzalo has joined ABC's upcoming drama series "Eli Stone," which stars Jonny Lee Miller in the title role as an attorney who begins to have larger-than-life visions.

Gonzalo will play a junior associate at Stone's law firm. Gonzalo, who played Parker Lee on "Veronica," also appeared in the features "Must Love Dogs," "Christmas With the Kranks" and "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story."

Additionally, Amanda Righetti has been added to Fox's new drama series "K-Ville," a cop drama set in post-Hurricane Katrina New Orleans. Righetti will play a beautiful, earthy Bohemian woman who lives in a FEMA trailer park.

Meanwhile Billy Burke has landed the lead on NBC's one-hour pilot "The Watch," which revolves around a suburban Neighborhood Watch group gone awry. The show centers on Lonnie (Burke), the new chief detective.

Burke, whose credits include the features "Ladder 49" and "Fracture" and the Fox series "24," next appears in the films "Feast of Love" and "Untraceable."
