Default Outdated situations in sitcoms

I was watching the episode of Dennis the Menace titled "The Party Line" and started to think of others situations that wouldn't happen today.

Here's the start of a list. Feel free to add on.

Party Lines
Phone Booth & Payphones
Payphones in a home to combat high phone bills
The urgency of long distance phone calls and keeping the conversation short.

Jogging

Women's rights movement
Women working in male dominant jobs
Women's measurements and comments on appearance
Women using sex appeal to get what she wants
Women drivers
Teaching a woman how to drive including technical information on how cars work.
Husband hunting

Recording over a program or event on a VHS tape.
Record your own record and a Carnival or record store.

I'm know there's more. What would they be?

Defrosting an older refrigerator -- that used to be needed to be done periodically.

Very young children in vehicles without car seats.

Children on bicycles without helmets.

?? How is jogging outdated?? People still go jogging 7 days a week...

We rarely get police coming to the door now for minor crime. We are kept on hold for ages then given a crime number for insurance purposes. We are paying the highest taxes since 1945 yet seem to be getting little value for money.

A character adjusting “rabbit ears” to get better TV reception (this still happens, but digital TV is either all-there or it’s a black screen—no fading in and out. Also streaming is the thing now)

Stuck in an elevator with seemingly no way out—but this is related to the phone thing the OP mentioned

Newspaper carriers (usually young people) going door-to-door to collect the fee for the papers they deliver.
To my knowledge, in the U.S. practically all print publishers now collect their money electronically or by checks in the mail.

Crowds at sporting events or other large gatherings, actually looking at the stage or field, NOT looking at their smartphones! 📱

During the early '70's Jogging was a fad. On the " Revisiting TV LAND Box sets I found
four shows with a jogging theme.

The Mother’s In-Law- I didn’t raise myself to be a Grandmother S2, E5
Brady Bunch – Sergeant Emma - S3, E20
Phyllis – Dan’s Ex - S2, E20
Beverly Hillbillies – The Jogging Clampetts S7, E25

On the children theme how about kids being allowed to go out and play, go to the store, or walk to school unsupervised.

The last time I saw rabbit ears as a theme was on Married with Children where they were trying to get their local FOX station. A nice jab on their own network.

And of course there were episodes about the parent(s) doing the paper route for their kid.

People walking on the sidewalk looking where they're going rather than looking at their phone
