New fan of Matlock

I just recently began watching reruns of this show and had no idea of what I was missing! Great show! I just love the Ben Matlock character and no one else could protray him as well as Andy Griffith did. I'm also a fan of Ben and Julie's relationship. I only wished she had been in more episodes. They're so fun and cute together. The banter back and forth in court shows how much sexual intensity they have between them, but they don't seem to do anything about it, as the writers seem to enjoy teasing viewers. I for one can see how hot they are for each other, and yet we don't get to see much more than embraces and a few sweet kisses here and there. Please don't bring age into this because we all know that sexual desire can be just as high with middle aged people as it is with younger people, and sex appeal is more than looks, it's about character and charm, both of which they have.
