Default Facebook thinks I am spamming groups

A couple days ago Facebook put a temporary ban on me posting in groups for a day. And now everytime I want to post on a group I have to enter the Captcha. And I don't think my posts are being seen anyway because I hardly get any notifications now. I used to get 10-20 a day based on my group posts. I belong to all these 80s and 90s nostalgia groups and copy and paste what I want to post for the day.

Just curious, but "copy and paste" what? Are you copying the published works of others (magazine snippets, etc) and then pasting them without adding meaningful commentary of your own?

If so, I can kinda see their point. If you don't bother to add comments about why the material is significant to you, it can be a PITA tying to distill meaning. jfyi

Since I'm in nostalgia groups one of the things I post is YouTube links of vintage music videos

Just the link? With no accompanying comments from you? FWIW, I absolutely hate it when people do that. at least include a brief note identifying the group and song, hopefully with an additional comment from you stating how the song is relevant.

What it does to people the way you're doing it, all people including those having no interest in the song are following your link just to see what's there, and then having to wait for the song to cue up.....30-45 seconds for something they didn't even want.....that imo, is why they are calling you spammer

I actually do put the name of the song and person who sung it. Maybe it's the amount of groups I posted on in one day

You should see the amount of groups there are regarding the 80s and 90s. I belong to 20 of them.

You're probably hitting some Ai definition. From what I've heard and experienced it's impossible to get Facebook to do anything about a problem. They don't care about the users.

On Facebook I read FOX News, and the comments are mostly ridiculous "spam" messages that have nothing at all to do with the story. Just turning on Facebook now and just going to a random story.

Below is the bizaare stuff that is in the comments typically on FOX. It gets to the point where I do not even read the comments, and this is no accident. This garbage is on every single last FOX News comment section.

Reading from one story with a 145 comments, there is....

A post about God (a strange Christian post ending with blood).

Join chat group on Telegram. (Telegram seems to be the go to place for weird stuff)

Check out the doctor, he is a healer to humanity.

I'm Hope, a female hooker ready for a hookup (seriously, actual quote)

How I got my EX back. (This one is on all of them, one should call Dr. Zaka)

A bitcoin investment thing.

(Quote) I know a doctor that can help you and he has helped me get rid of my disease.

CCloned card rates (note, spelled with two CC's). Join group on Telegram.

Mad Cow disease is coming back! Take Ozympic.

Incredibe results!! Trading from Day 1!

A Sir Austin who will make you a wealthy investor in the binary field (whatever that is)

Chat me up here seek for serious relationship with a right man (actual quote)

I have also seen pictures of naked women on FOX comments.

Now looking at CNN, surprise! Looking at several stories right now, no "spam" whatsoever.

MSNBC, none. There are a few Republican/Trump people refuting the story but they are on script.

CBS News. No "spam" at all.

So, it seems that Facebook allows this. I have only attempted to try to put a sales message in posts once several years ago and was immediately shot down by Facebook. I wasnt banned but my messages were unread and deleted. Facebook just hates FOX and allows this to happen. I dont understand why the FOX network doesnt complain about this and they should. Because of the "Spam" it basically silences opinions because people dont bother to post and there is little dialogue.

I have always suspected that in some instances, clandestine relationships develop between a group's admin and certain of it's members, creating "pet" status for the member. Affording said members opportunity to exert their will against fellow members in peculiar ways.

So the "pet" enjoys a status of entitlement, frequently at the expense of their supposed peers.

Of course there also is always the possibility that the pet and their benevolent guardian are one and the same, just a construct to allow the admin to play "good cop/bad cop" from behind their facade.
