Harvey Korman, who starred in the Carol Burnett show on CBS for 10 years left to star in his own show on ABC in the 1977-78 season.

The pilot of the show aired on Thursday, May 19,1977 on ABC at 9:30pm after Barney Miller and finished at #14 right below Carol Burnett at#13

The show returned to ABC as a mid-season replacement to replace Soap on Tuesday Night, Jan 31 1978 after Three's Company at 9:30pm

After the first airing in 1978, the show finished #6 above One Day at a Time, Charlie's Angels, Barney Miller and Love Boat.

That ranking wasnt impressive enough and the show was restructured to return in the spring.

The show returned on April 4, 1978 on the same after Three's Company.

After the 4/4/78 airing, the show ranked 9th tied with Charlie Angels

After the 4/11/78 airing, the show fell to 13th above Charlie Angels

ABC decided not to add the show to the Fall schedule due to falling ratings

The last airing would be August 3, 1978 on a Thursday night
