Good question. There are lots of good scenes. But, if I had to pick one it would be when Nick starts singing after eating the brownies laced with hash. I thought it was so funny when he started singing then sood up and started swaying back and forth a little. That's one of my favorite episodes too.

I liked it when the guy was in the cell and thought that he was turning into a werewolf and Yemana says "Don't do that. That'll just aggravate it."

I like in "The Mole" episode when Wojo and Harris come into the squadroom covered in sewer waste. It was gross but funny.

Too many to mention!! The writers were brilliant and had fantastic actors to pull off those scenes - what could be better than that??

The look on Barney's face when Levitt shows up in a tuxedo.

The whole "Hash" episode...but, when Levitt is getting ready to escort Wojo home, he keeps telling Barney that he will keep the whole incident on the DL...Levitt starts to leave and puts his finger to his mouth (shhh), Barney pushes the door closed on him.

When Luger apologizes to Harris about shuffling off...Luger holds his hand out in a gesture to get a hand slap(give me five)...Harris takes his hand and turns it into a handshake.

Levitt has been up working for 37 hours...he is in Barney's office sitting on the couch with his feet crossed...The look Barney gives him, he quickly uncrosses his feet.

When Barney actually tells off Inspector Lugar for coming around always telling his morbid stories about Kliener, Brownie and the other guy.

Honorable mention to a scene between the Arab and the Jew as they go back an forth about the characters of Trapper on MASH is now played by the guy from Bonanza and not from House Calls (or something to that effect-just remember it being funny)

Speaking of those two shop keepers it was a pretty emotional scene when the Arab shows up saying his "frienemy" Kotterman of many years was killed trying to handle a robber himself when he couldn't call on the Precint becuase it was only handling speialty cases at the time)

Hard to pick one. Most of the scenes with Luger in Barney's office were pretty funny. Especially the scene where he tells Barney he will be demoted to captain if he dioesn't retire - "lousy, stinkin' captain". I also liked Dietrich. Some funny scenes in the episode where he and Harris want the same week for vacation - Harris to go skiing, Dietrich to go to a Wolfgang Goethe festival.

The entire hashish brownie episode. That is the one episode I would have somebody watch if they have never seen Barney Miller.

Fish ate more than one brownie but he didn't seem to get high at all.

THAT scene & the Taxi scene with Laka's Cookies with Cocaine in them described by Jim - are most likely the 2 greatest ever !

There's a lot of them: one I saw recently was when Barney's trying to tell Officer Nash that he can't pretend to be a police officer anymore.
