Unrelated Movies with the Same Title - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

These are the movies that I know of that share the same titles and are completely unrelated. These are not remakes or reboots and they have no relation at all.

If you know of any others not in this list then please add:

Jack Frost

Jack Frost (1996) - A very bad horror film about a serial killer, Jack Frost, who escapes from custody the day of his execution. His transport vehicle crashes into a tanker on a snowy road and the acid from the truck makes the snow fuse onto Frost's body. Now Jack Frost is a walking snowman hellbent on revenge.

Jack Frost (1998) - A family Christmas movie starring Michael Keaton, whose name is also Jack Frost, who dies on his way to see his son for Christmas. His soul then takes over a snowman to say goodbye to his son before he returns to the afterlife.

Employee of the Month

Employee of the Month (2004) - A dark comedy film starring Matt Dillon, Christina Applegate, and Steve Zahn. About a bank employee who gets fired from his job and then returns to rob it, only to stumble on the bank being robbed by others.

Employee of the Month (2006) - A comedy starring Jessica Simpson, Dane Cook, and Dax Shephard. It's about employees at a retail store competing to earn the "Employee of the Month" award.

Kicking and Screaming

Kicking and Screaming (1995) - A comedy-drama starring Jack Hamilton about a group of college graduates who do nothing to advance themselves.

Kicking & Screaming (2005) - A comedy starring Will Ferrell and Robert Duvall. Ferrell plays a soccer coach to a little league team having have endured the competitive nature of sports under his father, Duvall, as a kid.

The Patriot

The Patriot (1998) - An action film starring Steven Seagal who plays a doctor/weapons expert who saves a town from the actions of a private militia.

The Patriot (2000) - A historical war film on the American Revolution starring Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger.

True Crime

True Crime (1996) - A crime film starring Alicia Silverstone and Kevin Dillon. Silverstone plays a student who is addicted to crime novels who decides to "help" an investigation of murdered girls in her area.

True Crime (1999) - A crime thriller starring Clint Eastwood as a investigative reporter who tries to stop an execution of a man whom he believes is innocent.

Pulse

Pulse (1988) - A horror film about a paranormal spirit who terrorizes people by taking over household appliances.

Pulse (2006) - An American remake of a Japanese horror film Kairo. It stars Kristen Bell about evil spirits who enter the real world through the internet.

Twilight

Twilight (1998) - A crime drama starring Susan Sarandon, Gene Hackman, and Paul Newman.

Twilight (2008) - A fantasy romance film starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison. Based on the first novel in the "Twilight" saga.

Jersey Girl

Jersey Girl (1992) - A romance comedy starring Dylan McDermott and Jamie Gertz.

Jersey Girl (2004) - Comedy drama directed by Kevin Smith and starring Ben Affleck and Liv Tyler. It flopped due to the Ben and Jen fiasco and the fact that Jay and Silent Bob were not a part of it.

Mad Love

Mad Love (1935) - A horror film directed by Karl Fruend and starring Peter Lorre.

Mad Love (1995) - A drama-romance film starring Drew Barrymore and Chris O'Donnell. O'Donnell falls in love with new girl in town, Barrymore, who suffers from borderline personality disorder.

Notorious

Notorious (1946) - Alfred Hitchcock directed espionage thriller starring Cary Grant.

Notorious (2009) - Biopic film on rapper Christopher Wallace aka Notorious B.I.G.

Hero

Hero (1992) - A comedy drama starring Dustin Hoffman and Geena Davis. It's about a thief who rescuses survivors of a plane crash and is to much into his criminal ways to realize the people are looking for him "the hero" of the incident. Geena Davis is a reporter who surived the plane crash out to find him.

Hero (2002) - A martial arts film starring Jet Li and Zhang Ziyi. Jet Li plays a warrior who plans to kill the emperor of China but changes his mind when he realizes the emperor wants to unite China.

The Unborn

The Unborn (1991) - A sci-fi/horror thriller about a couple of gets in-vitro fertilization only to discover that the baby inside is an evil experiement.

The Unborn (2009) - A horror film starring Gary Oldman as a Rabbi who helps a girl deal with being bothered by spirits of the dead.

I'll Be Home for Christmas- one of my favorite movies starring Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Jessica Biel. Hallmark later made something else with the same title.
