That's right, I have never seen any Star Wars movies. Just didn't appeal to me. I did see Gone With The Wind a few times

I can understand that, some people do not like Science Fiction and couldnt care less about it. I remember as a ten year old child in 1977 seeing commercials for it and I had to see it if nothing else for the amazing graphics which over forty (yes, 40) years later still stand up. I probably havent seen it in its entirity for decades however.
There are a lot of famous TV shows I have never seen. Friends is one. Frasier is another. Never seen a minute of ER, there are too many to count. Doesnt mean they werent probably good shows, just wasnt interested. |

Mark Hamill got really, really lucky with Star Wars. He was an unknown actor before that. Even with that, George Lucus (the director and more or less creator of Star Wars) didnt think the movie would even be a hit and the studio took a huge gamble on it.
Because of Star Wars, Hamill starred in the next two films and made a lot of money and fame, then because of typecasting sort of dropped out for many years. I guess he was doing other stuff but Star Wars had him set for life. |

Don't forget, he is the voice of the Joker on Batman: the animated series.
