TVFactFan Member Forum Junkie Join Date: Aug 17, 2002 Posts: 98,966	TV Facts The show premiered on ABC on Sunday, Sept 23 1979 on ABC at 8:30pm and featured Martin Short, Shelly Smith, and Alley Mills from Wonder Years The show aired after Mork and Mindy and competed with One Day at a Time on CBS and the Big Event on NBC After the first airing the show ranked #41 out of 66 shows It was referred to as the season's best comedy by Boca Raton News while ranking 43rd after the 2nd episode The show continued to fall after the third episode and finished #49 A week after the airing of the Oct 28 1979 episode, the show was removed from the schedule and would not return until March 27, 1980 on Thursday Nights Final episode was April 17 1980 Cloris Leachman from Mary Tyler Moore appeared in ep 4 Georgia Engel from Mary Tyler Moore appeared in ep 5 John Ritter appeared in episode 9 Danny Devito appeared in episode 13 Boca Raton News, Oct 8 1979 Kingsport-Times News, Nov 18 1979 Miami News, Oct 10 1979 Miami News, Oct 17 1979
