Anyone else feel this Way? I have a tv hookup now as I unplugged tv yrs ago but my friend hooked up a tv for me recently. I have turned it on a few times, but honestly nothing interests me.
On the football scene, I have no interest in watching a bunch of jocks beating each other up for making mega buc ks....A gf just called me to see if I was going to turn it on and without hesitation I said No..... |

I don't really care much for sports. I can watch baseball if I'm in the mood but never football or basketball.

I wasn't really interested in The Superbowl this year either. In fact, I didn't even know who was playing until literally last night.

I didn't watch the game either because I dislike both teams. Patrick Mahomes is probably the best quarterback in the NFL currently so I figured the Chiefs would win the game. I was not at all surprised when I found out they won although the score was close, 38-35.

I suppose if I had interest in the football games in today's times, the yesterday game would have been a cliffhanger, I know nothing about the teams and today's players. Just keep hearing how Tom Brady is retiring AGAIN....

Tom Skanky just won't go away. What a waste of a good cast in a movie glorifying him (ads for that trash which does not deserve to be named have run amok the last few weeks).

Primarily, I'm a baseball fan, and never really get into football until the playoffs start. Seeing which part of the hype is real, vs the posers, and things like that.
So, the positive side of that is that I really have no favorite team, not heavily invested emotionally, so whoever wins is fine with me. Probably better for my heart than baseball where I live and die with every pitch.... Mahomes...very impressive, I like his guts being willing to run the ball the way he does. But because of that (willingness) I don't expect he'll have a long career. Eventually somebody is gonna get tired of him beating them, and hurt him out of spite...that is my prediction. |

Super Bowl ratings say they got 113 million viewers Sunday. Could have been 113 million and one if Caroline had watched.

In my younger days I was a big sports fan, but now I occasionally watch it. The guys are mostly million-dollar crybabies. It just isn't what it used to be. And no, I didn't watch the Big Game.

I am much more of a college football fan than an NFL fan personally.
I did "watch" the game but on Youtube, which lasted 15 minutes instead of three hours. Just the game, no singers, entertainers (which annoy me) or someone screeching the "National Anthem". Turned off the sound to not hear those goddamned announcers (why do we need people to narrate the game if we are watching it, are people that dumb?). This might sound weird, but somehow the Super Bowl doesnt quite have the magic or pagentry it did back in the 1970's and 1980's. Maybe its just me, then it was a boy looking at men, and now I am a man looking at boys (not in the LGBT sense). |

I thought it was funny seeing Mahomes doing a commercial last night, standing there in his uniform holding the trophy, and saying "I'm going to Disneyland".
Bet he made a pretty penny for that endorsement |
