When Fans Attack: "Jericho"
After the Skeet Ulrich-led series was cut from CBS’ roster, disgruntled fans bombarded the network with 50,000 pounds of peanuts in hopes of saving the post-apocalyptic drama from cancellation.
The robust fan response impressed network heads, and the show was picked up for a seven-episode second season. Unfortunately, ratings remained low and the series was not picked up for Season 3.
