"The Purse Snatcher" Was Badly Put Together

The more I watch the episode and study it, the whole spinoff attempt made no sense.


For a while I actually thought the restaurant was called "Two Guys From Greece"...


In the opening scene they mention that, but then they say they changed the restaurant and name.


But then what threw me off was the "Two Guys" Nicky and Tyler.


Was it run by Mr. Pappalardo previously and they changed the name, or was it recently bought by him?


Why did they take a Greek restaurant and then change it to a Pita Bread sandwich place?


Two Guys...


Nicky was the owners son.


A few times we hear of "The Last Word" but we don't really get into it. Why they bought it. Did they know the people who previously owned it?


Then Nicky says he is Greek.


Pappalardo...IS ITALIAN!


Makes no sense!


Whoever wrote the episode, or planned the spinoff it was a very bad idea.


The set, the uniforms there is rarely any sign of "THE LAST WORD".


So for years I thought the restaurant was called "Two Guys From Greece".


Plus Mr. Pappalardo having an Italian last name and they tried making him be Greek? It just made no sense. Pappalardo is an Italian last name. Or could it be Greek? I don't think so.

What they should have done:


1. They needed a store logo "The Last Word" They had none.

2. They should have explained the change to the new restaurant. Why and how it happened. Them being "Greek" threw me off and made me feel they changed the name and the food yet it's always been "Greek"...

3. The uniforms...the backs sort of have a logo, but you can't even make it them out. They should have had "The Last Word" on them, and they should have been legible.


I'm just glad this didn't make it to series.
