Charles Kimbrough Was Robbed
after being nominated for an Emmy in 1990. I looked up who he lost to, it was Alex Rocco from The Famous Teddy Z. Haven't heard of that show? It was cancelled after one season, ironically as Murphy Brown's lead-out and lead-in. My primetime directory even says Alex's character was obnoxious. Charles would not get any more Emmy nominations for Jim Dial after 1990.
