Honestly, I have never seen so much Night Court on a store shelf. There was so much unbought overstock from the past 5 years of it not selling. All the DVDs in their original packaging with the 50 Years of Warner Bros bonus disc still available!

How much were they selling them for, do you know? This is one of the reasons it took so long for season 2 to be released!

funny thing is i went to big lots on wednesday and all the copys of night court were gone

Funny you should mention that, ekkostar! I have vivid memories of purchasing the season one DVD set--complete with the "50 Years Of Warner Bros." bonus DVD--from Big Lots about nine years ago! If memory serves, I think I paid only seven dollars...it was definitely a bargain! I still have it to this day...it's prominently displayed on my DVD shelf (alongside seasons two and three)! Big Lots rules!

Maybe what they should have done was to package the first 3 seasons into a mini-box set. I realize that this is blasphemous to true Night Court fans but the show really hit full stride in its 3rd season.

I've actually seen the first three seasons of Night Court repackaged and bundled together into a cost-effective, three-seasons-for-one-low-affordable-price compilation box set and sold at Walmart in the past.
