Default Pamela Hensley: A Late but GREAT Addition to "Marcus Welby, MD"...!

Pamela Hensley is best known for her 1982-85 work as a starring cast member of the Matt Houston
TV series, appearing in more than 5 dozen episodes.
But arguably she was at her most beautiful in her 2 dozen 1975-76 Marcus Welby episodes,
a series on which she received opening credits billing in its final season as Janet Blake. For one thing,
I believe her makeup is lighter and more natural, better complementing her lovely facial features.

Let's have a look at Pamela on the series, beginning
with two wonderful b/w promotional photos. Pamela's
skirt is above the knees, looking great. I love
the length of her hair and its waves are attractive.
She has it combed to the side, permitting us an
unobstructed view of her pretty face:

Pamela looks gorgeous in her jeans. I like her blouse,
tied in front, and unusual belt. 1970s casual women's
clothes and jewelry at their best. Her eyes and hair are
amazing and she gives us a stunningly pretty look.
Really lovely:

A kissing scene with James Brolin as Dr. Kiley, in
formal attire, followed by a wonderful image that
has a look that's right out of 1970s popular
engagement or wedding photos, very cute:

In this scene, actress Maureen Reagan's character
appears to be consoling Janet/Pamela. Once again
I love how Pamela's hair is long, and here we see
its fullness:

A beguiling smile. Pamela is wearing cute, larger
gold hoop earrings. Again we have a good look at the
very lovely colors of her eyes and hair. Pamela is
an extremely pretty lady:

She was a stunner and I thought she fit whats his name pretty darn well. I liked that she was a public relations person in the same hospital as whats his name. That made them more equally yoked, yet did not allow for stepping on each other's toes.

Thanks for the great post, BB! She was a great match for Dr. Kiley, and I'd totally forgotten about this romance from the later seasons, maybe just the last season

Glad you posted about her. I just saw her briefly in Emergency. I was like, " I have seen that face before." It was a year before she started in Marcus Welby.
Very pretty lady.

Thanks for the replies. I thought we'd take a quick look at Pamela in a couple of
selected images out of the many, many ones from Matt Houston that are available online.
The first one (1982) is one of the nicest I've seen; the second one (1983)
shows her with star Lee Horsley, along with the late Lincoln Kilpatrick:

I've taken one screencap from each of Episodes 20 & 21, Marcus Welby Season 7, of Pamela and James. The "Silhouettes" song lyric comes to mind -- Oh, what a lovely couple they made:
