The legend is the product of exaggeration. Yeah, ships and planes have disappeared, but that’s nothing unheard of when it comes to a busy stretch of ocean. A lot of planes and ships pass through the area, accidents happen, and the ocean is pretty deep and can swallow up wrecked ships and planes easily.

On this topic, one of my favorite films is Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and I loved that Flight 19 played a prominent role in the storyline.

It's bizarre to me that UM didn't mention that a different plane searching for the missing members of Flight 19 exploded and lost all 13 crew members on board.

There have been enough incidents there to suggest that some type of phenomena may exist. May be something relatively mundane like weather patterns though. |

The story of Flight 19 has always fascinated me to no end! And as TC pointed out up thread, this was BEFORE I found out about the search plane that also met it's end that day. That delightful tidbit nearly sent my conspiracy loving brain into orbit, lol. As far as where I stand on the Triangle overall, I tend to agree with MH in that there is enough anecdotal evidence to convince me that something is going on, but just what that something could be is anyone's guess IMO.
Now don't laugh y'all, but I've always wondered if there could be some type of freaky electromagnetic activity at work. I've also been perplexed by the fact that Flight 19 has never been found. Are there any guesses about it? |
