I had recorded Bachelor Father from RTV more than 10 years ago and when they showed it it was out of order and they skipped some episodes. Well, since then I've managed to be able to see those episodes RTV and I do believe Antenna TV still skip to this day. One of those missing episodes I saw this past Friday morning (my Bachelor Father day) called "Bentley & the Homebody" 5.21. Now I have seen other episodes RTV & Antenna TV have skipped and the reason has been that those episodes included songs that stations don't want to pay extra for for the music rights. So while disappointing and maddening at least I can figure why they skip them.
BUT I can't figure why "Bentley & the Homebody" was skipped. The version I saw was recorded from CBN 20 or 30 years ago, so it was shown then, but why not now? There isn't one single song in the whole show, so no reason I can see for skipping it now. It involves Bentley advising Kelly that the way to a man's heart is to be able to cook a good meal. Have things gotten so bad and woke today that simply saying a girl should know how to cook is grounds for banishment?? Things can't be that outrageously bad today. So I can't believe that could be the reason. So then why????
