Tomorrow I am going to write up a chore list of all the things I need to do this year and then cross them out after I do them. I have a feeling the only one I will get done is the chore list.

I've decided to no longer set New Years Resolutions. They always fall apart a few days in anyway.

Every year I say I'm going to cut down on my swear words, but the first time I get mad that resolution goes right out the window. My husband suggested covering my mouth with duct tape.

I am not doing resolutions anymore. I am going to set some goals for myself though. Getting my finances in order and becoming more health conscious are my two main goals for 2013.

I want to start drinking more water. I don't drink nearly enough, and that's not healthy at all. I also want to consume less sugar. Certain medications give me a mad sweet tooth.

I'd like to start reading more. I've got many books that I bought but haven't read. The Internet has taken away my desire to read books.

On the personal front, I want to keep an eye on my finances and to stop giving to people who don't appreciate it. I don't give to get, but it's nice to be recognized. For example, I've been incredibly kind to a woman and her son. She was my housecleaner. I felt bad that she was a single mother in a foreign land. She laid it on thick, and I took the bait. The more I gave, the less she cleaned. I was generous at Christmas, etc, etc, etc. She knows today's my birthday. Not even a card or a simple note.

I could type all day with these types of stories. I'm done. I've got my retirement and mainly my husband's health to concentrate on.

Eat fewer choc. chip cookies, drink less sweet iced tea, and drink more water.

Mo Kelley last night on KFI said choc chip cookies were his downfall.

Stevea, just do it, reduce that sugar and have you checked glucose levels in your body, that might be a shocker, maybe not. Just thinkin like a person who has been there done that all.
