Joseph Augustus Zirelli

Born Jan 18, 1953, I believe it was.

Were someone.. To search on that kinda unique surname on.. Oh, I don't know. Something like findagrave.com

Correlate to the area.. Anyone see a name that really jumps out at them?

And, someone has already hit that memorial and posted a photo with text that's a thinly veiled reference to him being the father.

That's going to be much more difficult.

The father's identity.. I think that's established now. But, since nothing has been released.. All I'll say is.. You can find a damn good suspect with minimal searching.

But.. His wife is likely not the mother. The leading suspect to be the father was in WWII until 1946, looks like as part of the Navy performing peacekeeping duty in the Pacific. Lived his whole life in the Philly area and passed away.. Nearly 10 years ago now. I stress.. Suspect. Of the internet. FAR from fact. There's certainly logic to say he was. But zero to say that his wife was the mother.

So, continuing the timeline, very much out of order. This suspect to be the father.. Married his wife in 1959. So, for her to be the mother, they would have had to had a relationship from 1952 to 1959 without marrying. Then, had children in 1960 and 1961 that died as infants.. then had 4 more children over the next few years. Not impossible, but if they had Joseph, killed him, then got married 3 years later and had a normal life. They were monsters. I can't see that.

I think, if this person is, indeed the father, he got back from the war. Worked for his fathers company, dated a woman, got her pregnant around April 1952.. She gave birth in Jan 1953 to Joseph. We have no idea if our suspect even knew about the kid. If he did.. I think he was told either the kid died or perhaps the mother said "You stay away", or maybe his family kept them apart and fed him a line.. I do not think he was involved at all. I think the kid was with the biological mother.. And.. We're looking at a Susan Smith type situation. They date someone new who doesn't want a woman who has kids.. Boy in the Box is just the 1950's version of driving your car into a lake.

There are other possibilities. They could have basically done some kind of private adoption. But.. Again, I don't think the woman who married the supposed father is Joseph's mother.

I have no information other than my own conclusions.. But.. My conclusions are 100% plausible.. How accurate they are, I can't say.

FWIW.. "Both sides of the family".. That's key terminology from the press conference. "Mothers side" and "Fathers Side" were used quite often, which is damn good evidence that the supposed father's wife was NOT the mother.

One other note.. one of the Philly TV stations uncovered that both sides are represented by the same Philly law firm.. Which issued a quick "No Comment" when the news went to them. I can't imagine that this will not end with the story being sold to have a book or movie written about it.

How many times now have we seen convicted murderers lamented in the same exact way? Someone had extreme malice in their hearts, and suspects #1 and #2 are right there for the time being.
