Two threads below this one is one started by me called "Just Realized This". This thread had to do with the first-season episode called the "Emergency". This was the second of three episodes in which the Late Hazel Shermet appeared. I explained to the readers that Hazel's mother was named Dorothy. Right before this episode aired on prime time was an episode of "Different Strokes" called "Kathy". This episode featured a character named Dorothy. The purpose of my previous thread was to point out the coincidence. After writing about it here, I went over to the "Different Strokes" page and posted one called "Two Babes Named Dorothy". Someone has responded to that post by pointing out that there was also an episode of that series in which Olympic Skater Dorothy Hamill appeared as herself. So now we have a third character named Dorothy! Telling you guys about it is just another attempt to stimulate some conversation.
