Default Anti-Aging Vitamin found to cause Brain Cancer

https://www.wfla.com/community/healt...er-study-says/

A study by the University of Missouri found that taking a popular vitamin supplement may contribute to risks of brain cancer.

The vitamin, called nicotinamide riboside, is a variant of B3. Taking the nutritional pill may lead to increased chances of brain cancer, according to the study‘s results.

Known for its benefits to metabolism, brain health, and cardiovascular systems, nicotinamide riboside is sometimes referred to as an “anti-aging” vitamin. The National Institute of Health reports NR can be used to “modulate the aging process and thereby exhibit life-prolonging effects,” according to previous study, though the full effects and process of doing so are not yet clear.

However, new research from an international group of scientists and chemists found that high levels of NR could also lead to an increased risk of developing cancer.

Kinda interesting, made me look further....Found a lot of info on all the forms of Niacin et al and I have taken some Niacin in my life, but not regular basis.

NR (nicotinamide riboside)

Sometimes sold under the brand name NIAGEN.
NR increases NAD+, but is very pricey.
Unlike niacin and niacinamide, NR does not raise blood glucose or increase insulin resistance.
Like niacin and niacinamide, NR is a form of vitamin B3.

Wawwie said Everything. People NEED to monitor what comes out of their mouths.

Oh if you and Wawwie take NR, you need to stop or you'll stop breathing....

I think that if given the choice to die naturally, or live longer but with brain cancer, there really is only one choice that I'd make.

People are always trying to convince me to give up the things in life that I enjoy most, in order to "live longer"....and man I look at some of that stuff such as low fat cheese, or low sodium "whatever", and wonder how the proponents consider that to be "living"?

How do you know that people were not just patronizing you back then, because there are so many taboos about exploiting children?

And, what I mean by that....when people have kids they tend to recognize a responsibility to that person they created, to give them a fitting "launch" (not everybody, unfortunately....but the responsible individuals)

So, we spend the first 18 or so years of our lives living in a nurtured environment. I know that I did

Only once we are out on our own, do we recognize that our personal happiness is not paramount to the rest of the world?
And yeah, then "life sux", because we are no longer special...
