Default Good Times Reunion?

Would anyone have liked a G.T.'s reunion? Would be kinda interested in seeing how life worked out for the Evans after they got out of the ghetto in the final episode. Like what they were up to in the 80s, 90s and beyond

A GT Fan said something like,"If they had a GT Reunion, say in 1999, they could have had the Evans, Keith, Bookman, Penny, and Willona have a funeral for Florida now that Esther Rolle had passed away in 1998."

Maybe have 'the kids' have a family reunion and come across James as an amnesiac patient (done on soaps)!.

But in all honesty, it would be REALLY hard to do a GT Reunion now that Janet Dubois, Ken Powers, Esther Rolle is dead in real life. And James Evans died in 1976(Though John Amos makes Multiple Appearances with the surviving Cast Members)That's literally half the main cast! If they are going to do a Reunion, MAYBE they could claim that Florida, Keith, and Willona went on Vacation in The Caribbean during Hurricane Season and died when their Vacation spot was hit from Category 5 Hurricane and have a Triple Closed Casket Funeral. That Bookman, James(Who faked his own death for Insurance Fraud to help his Family out. This has happened in real life, not at all that far fetched), Penny(Who is now a World Wide Renowned Super Star Singer much like Janet Jackson, , Thelma, JJ, Michael attend to pay their respects to a Mother, a Friend, and a Husband. Now that Hurricane Season is basically over(Literally ends tomorrow), maybe they can do this next year. God forbid any other Core Cast Members die soon.

Sadly I hadn't kept up really with how many cast members had died
I just knew that Jimmy was still alive, its what made me think of a reuinion when I saw him in a commercial lol

I guess this could have worked in maybe the 80s or early 90s

A good plot twist could be that maybe James had an insurance policy and faked his death in order for his family to get the money

I mentioned that James could have faked his own death for Insurance Fraud for his Family in my post.

Maybe there could be a reboot

In the first episode, James “returns from the dead”, revealing he fake his death for insurance fraud

Thelma would probably be married to this Puerto Rican in his mid-to-late 40’s who’s the Urkel of the show (Keith died years prior the the revival)

J.J. would be married to this woman called Handy Dandy Deborah or something like that

Florida’s nephew, Cleatus, would be living with The Evans’s, but he’s now a foul-mouthed, chain-smoking double amputee

Michael would return home after 4 years with a present (his new “girlfriend”, who is surprisingly, much to The Evans’s dismay, a drag queen he met in a strip club, which turned out to be a gay strip club for homosexuals, and there could be a storyline based off of that)

J.J. and his wife’s daughter, named James Evans III (since it’s a running gag the two couldn’t come up with another name), comes out to the family as lesbian, and introduces the family to her girlfriend, named Jordyn

Thelma would have a daughter, named Theitha, who’s a crackhead that tries to break into the house from time to time, played by Tiffany Haddish

Wilona would be recasted with Jenifer Lewis in the role

No Florida, as she died years before the reboot

Wouldn’t it be great?

It's late for that. What are they waiting for?

The junk he talked about the cast in his interviews pissed me off!
