Customizing my screen on this site

Hello,

Is there any way to customize my page on this site to exclude the thousands of TV shows and links showing up above the thread? it seems I spend most of my time on this site wondering:

1) am I logged in?
2) where can I find the thread I am replying to?
3) where is the typing box?

I'm not sure I understand your questions.

It sounds like you are coming from the main page of forums at https://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards and scrolling down.

You could add the Unsolved Mysteries forum to your bookmarks or favorites bar to go directly here.

Unless you specifically log out or clear your cookies, you should remain logged in. It will show you logged in on the navigation bar. If you aren't logged in, there's a welcome box encouraging guests to register.



You've already posted a new thread and replies by clicking the New Thread or Reply button. Check the FAQ to familiarize yourself with some of the options.

Exactly. I click the UM link, and theres a thousand links and distractions on this page. Blue hyperlinks to South Park etc. very tiring. Can all this be removed from my page when logged in?

No. That's the way I have it set up. There's no way to customize it.

A thousand links sounds like a bit of an exaggeration. Sometimes you have to scroll down a page to get to the good stuff. I hope that you can adjust and get used to it.

Im curious TJ,it says you have 10232 PMs ..How much space is that taking on the disk buddy??

I forgot about one way to customize it. You can go to the bottom left side of the screen and select the vBulletin Default style/theme. It doesn't have the thousand links and distractions, DVD links, board photos and other customizations. It's a no thrills version. There would be less scrolling involved, which I know can be very tiring.

I'm not sure. It probably doesn't take up much space since it is all text. The entire database is less than 6 GB without the attachments.
