Was this considered a "Charlie's Angels" spinoff? What's the connection? I would have liked to seen Lisa Reeves.

No it wasnt a spinoff ABC decided to have the women who played the Charlie Angels make a guest appearance on the first episode of San Pedro Beach Bums to boost viewership for the new show.
