Well, I finally completed another segment. I just need to do three or four more segments, and I should be finished with this project.

Wow, quite a talented writer!
I kept thinking Laverne never got a chance to tell about the cancer at the supper. Of course the hosp. scene brings a tear. One of my fav.parts was where Thelma beats the sh.. out of (was it?) Alex, the wiseass kid. He sure changed his tune! I really like Thelma! |

Well, I’m almost finished with this project. Anyone who hasn’t checked it out yet is more than welcome to. I think that Thelma’s Family Crisis has lots of comedic elements, but anyone who’s going through something can learn a little lesson as well. In other words, there are dramatic moments in here, so it isn’t all laughs and giggles.

What did you think about the whole GiGi/Lenny/Karen mess and Raymond standing up for himself around Kristen? |

Raymond standing up for himself was the work of Thelma, my fav. character--she gave him a great speech. I generally got a kick out of how she and Sophia laughed in unison a lot.

Sorry, I don't find humor in beating/abusing/publicly humiliating children. If she just pinched him, that would be fine, but she beat the crap out of someone else's child in front of a room full of people, humiliating him. I think Thelma is disgusting. |

That was the point as well. Not only was the part aimed at a comical view, but it was also supposed to show how a little discipline got a “big brat” like Alex in line. |

The parents went too far the other way, with no discipline at all. She stepped in, she's older, she did go overboard a little, but she got the job done.
Her generation's motto, probably, spare the rod, spoil the child. |

Well, I finally finished Thelma’s Family Crisis, I think it took over a month or about a month. Like I said, those who haven’t checked it out yet are more than welcome to check it out and give feedback.
