Remembering Grandpa Russ from Press Your Luck
In 1985 who can remember when Press Your Luck had a contestant named Russ who was known by the wonderful nickname Grandpa Russ make his debut on the show and becoming a big winner? If you saw last Thursday's Press Your Luck episode Grandpa Russ made his Press Your Luck comeback hoping to beat his CBS Press Your Luck record but although he got whammied in the beginning Russ only got two spins but lost the round due to the contestant Julio who won in the second round. I was surprised to see a former contestant from the original CBS Press Your Luck and I thought the episode was amazing. Too bad Julio got whammied at the end of the bonus round
