Bashing Shows On Their Own Boards

Until recently the general rule here was don't go to a show's board and bash it, that board was for the fans. But now with seemingly every flop under the sun such as Cavemen, Selfie, How to be a Gentleman, Superior Donuts, Welcome to Sweden, and Mulaney having their own boards, has that policy changed for short-lived shows?

Not a written rule, but when I was a fairly new member here I bashed The Golden Girls on its board after Hallmark had acquired it. I learned that does not go over well.
I never thought I would see the day when you say One Day at a Time sucks.

The show doesn't suck, just I think they should have casted the younger Daughter differently! The actress who played Barbara was terrible !!

That sounds like a fun read. When I get a chance I'm gonna do a deep dive on The Golden Girls board.

To seriously address the topic, I think if [whatever show] isn't for me, I should be allowed to go to that board and say so. And any fans there can try to convince me otherwise. Isn't the varying opinions the main point of all this?

What happens is General Sitcoms gets threads of sitcoms/shows you hate or can't stand. As much as I hate The Office, Two and a Half Men, Modern Family, Friends, All in the Family, Abbott Elementary, How I Met Your Mother, and other popular or long-running sitcoms, I am not going into their boards either to slam them. But that is up to you of course since it is not an official rule.
